Closing and Planning for ACANEA from 2026 - December 2025
December marks a crucial month for the Association of African Canadian Entrepreneurs (ACANEA): a time to close out the year with a look back at the accomplishments of 2025 and to lay the foundation for the strategic initiatives of 2026. This month will be focused on reflection, celebration, and planning, allowing the organization and its members to continue moving forward with ambition and clarity.
2025 Activity Review and Impact Assessment
Analyze the achievements of 2025 and measure their impact in the community

Results presentation session
- Date: First week of December
- Presentation of key performance indicators (KPIs): number of participants, beneficiary feedback, established collaborations
- Highlighting major achievements, such as the 5th anniversary, training workshops, and community events.
- Video or live testimonials from participants who have benefited from ACANEA activities and programs.
Impact analysis
- Participatory workshop to collect feedback from members, partners and beneficiaries
- Review of successes, challenges encountered, and missed opportunities
- Creation of a final impact report detailing the economic, social and cultural benefits of the initiatives
End of year celebration
- Date: Mid-December
- Festive evening bringing together members, partners and friends of ACANEA
- Closing speech by the President and presentation of the outlook for 2026.
- Awards ceremony to honor members, volunteers or partners who have had a significant impact in 2025.
Strategic Planning Workshops for 2026
Objective:Involve members and partners in the co-creation of the strategic plan for the year 2026.
Planned activities:
Workshop 1: Identification of priorities for 2026
Date: Second week of December.
Themes explored:
- New opportunities to strengthen entrepreneurship
- Development of strategic partnerships with public and private organizations
- Identification of emerging needs within the community

Workshop 2: Setting SMART goals
Date: Third week of December
Activities :
- Set specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, and time-bound goals
- Define the resources needed to achieve these objectives.
- Identify performance indicators to measure progress in 2026.
Communication and Diffusion
Annual report 2025
- Publication of a document summarizing the achievements of the year and the outlook for 2026.
- Sharing the report with partners, members, and government bodies
Awareness and mobilization campaign for 2026
- Launch of a campaign to recruit new members and partners
- Presentation of upcoming programs during information sessions or webinars at the end of December.
