The Workforce Development Program supports members of the Black community in the Edmonton and Northern Alberta region who face multiple barriers to gaining and maintaining paid employment. It does this through the provision of extensive, multi-disciplinary supports as participants progress through a multi-phase training program.
Objectifs

- Helping black immigrants reach their individual potential.
- Ensuring stability and security for black immigrants.
- Ensure Black immigrants have timely and consistent access to the support needed to meet their basic needs.
- Fostering Resilience in Black Immigrants Facing Multiple Obstacles in Their Lives
- Helping Black immigrants with disabilities participate in the community and find employment opportunities.
- Supporting the Black community and other Indigenous people with disabilities to find employment and opportunities to participate in the community.
