Board of Directors
The Board of Directors determines policies and ensures that the affairs of the African Canadian Association are conducted in accordance with good governance practices. The board of directors guides the strategic direction of the organization. Traditionally, board members are chosen and announced at the annual meeting. Recommendations may come from the board of directors. The recommendations are presented to the board of directors and the board vote is initiated.
Director
Tyler Reinhart, B. Sc.
Tyler Reinhart holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Operations and has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. He has developed a diverse skill set through project management, corporate finance, and field operations roles. Tyler supports mission-driven initiatives by leveraging his expertise in budgeting, analysis, and strategic planning. Passionate about impactful development, he combines his industry knowledge with a mission-focused approach to drive meaningful change in both commercial and philanthropic projects.
Treasury and Secretary
Lola Olorunfemi, M. Sc.
Lola completed her undergraduate and graduate studies in nursing in the United States of America, earning a master's degree in nursing from Jacksonville University with a specialization in health system leadership. She also holds a certificate in Interprofessional Health Informatics from the University of Minnesota. She has 10 years of nursing experience and is currently a professor of nursing at MacEwan University in Alberta.

Dieudonné Kandolo, avocat
He is a lawyer and retired Canadian Forces officer. He studied at the Faculty of Law, L.LL-JD at the University of Ottawa. Member of the Law Society of Upper Canada and the Law Society of Alberta. Currently working in immigration law, family law, employment law and criminal and personal injury law at DDK LAW Chambers. Former Captain, Deputy Judge Advocate General in the Office of the Judge Advocate General of the Canadian Forces from 2009 to 2013

Terence Sakwe, M. Sc.
Terence Sakwe est titulaire d'une maîtrise en droit et d'un diplôme en administration des affaires de l'Université MacEwan à Edmonton. Il est un professionnel agréé de l'assurance au Canada. Terence est un acteur communautaire dynamique en Alberta. Depuis 2019, il est chef du Diversity Social Club, l'un des plus grands groupes communautaires d'Edmonton. L'engagement de Terence envers les initiatives communautaires découle de sa vision humanitaire de la vie et du monde après avoir servi dans les missions de maintien de la paix des Nations Unies en République du Tchad et en Côte d'Ivoire de 2010 à 2014. Il est actuellement consultant principal en risques auprès de la direction des services juridiques de la ville d'Edmonton

Christopher Yafali, B.Sc.
An engineering graduate, he has extensive experience in oil and gas production and has worked on multi-faceted projects in engineering, management and the oil and gas sector.

Anne Mubenga, MBA
She graduated from Regis University in the United States of America with a master's degree in finance and accounting. She is a financial analyst involved in reviewing month-end performance and period-end reconciliations of the income statement, balance sheet and other key financial indicators (in accordance with IFRS, US GAAP, SOX). Budget preparation, capital expenditure initiation, implementation and performance against budget. Review of reporting packages before submission to head office. Monitoring of external debt/financing request to meet cash flow needs.
